Governance and administration

© Weiser Design

The digital transformation is changing the way people work, interact and communicate with each other. In order to successfully manage this change, existing governance structures and administrative processes must adapt to the new opportunities and challenges. For example, the use of data and analysis tools enables more informed and transparent decisions to be made. Cities and companies can distribute resources more fairly and make information more accessible. Digital technologies also offer the opportunity to actively involve citizens and various stakeholders in decision-making processes. However, the digital transformation also requires a revision of regulations and guidelines. The topics of artificial intelligence (AI), data protection and cyber security are becoming increasingly important. Companies and cities must ensure that their governance models are flexible, transparent and data-oriented in order to enable a successful transformation. This is the only way they can take advantage of the opportunities offered by new technologies while managing their risks appropriately.
